Minoxidil Once Daily Topicals to enhance Laser Hair Therapy

Posted by William Gaunitz on Wed, Nov 02, 2011 @ 02:57 PM

Laser Hair Therapy can be greatly enhanced with use of  5% Minoxidil compounded with natural topical anti-inflammatories.

Female under the ER610 LaserDue to Minoxidil’s vasodilatation properties, it can perfect enhancement to Low Level Laser Therapy. Minoxidil is responsible for expanding and reinforcing blood vessels and capillaries that feed the hair follicle. When increased nutrients from the blood are feeding the scalp, the treated hair follicles are forced into the growth phase of the hair cycle and lead to longer fuller hair. This will create a minor increase in hair density and will act as a substantially better starting point for laser hair treatments.

When the hair follicle is already in the growth phase, laser hair therapy will able to add its benefits on top of the benefits from Minoxidil. This actually creates a multiplying effect to each product so that you can get up to 4 times the result of using laser or Minoxidil alone.

Low level laser therapy for hair growth also increases blood flow to the scalp and accelerates cell regeneration. When used in conjunction with Minoxidil, these actions strengthen the entire vascular system of the scalp. Capillaries are expanded with Minoxidil and strengthened and expanded further with laser.

Other topical ingredients further enhance treatment for male and female pattern hair loss suffers. These following ingredients can improve results by another multiplier because it removed some of the other reason for hair loss

Azelaic Acid-is useful as a hair growth stimulant. A research report by Stamatiadis in 1988 suggested that azelaic acid (and combinations of it, with zinc ion and vitamin B6) was a strong DHT inhibitor. Di-hydro-testosterone or DHT has been found to be the cause of male and female pattern hair loss.

Retinoic Acid- also called tretinoin, is the acidified form of vitamin A. Retinoic acid is used to remove fine skin wrinkles and roughness. It works as a natural chemical peel, enabling better penetration of minoxidil into the scalp and speeding the cell regeneration process.

Caffeinated Green Tea Extract- Green tea contains high levels of substances called catechin polyphenols, known to possess strong antioxidant, anticarcinogenic, antitumorigenic, and even antibiotic properties. Recent study results have found that caffeine in topical formulas helps to regulate the effects of testosterone levels. [1]

Licorice Root Extract- Licorice is used to treat general skin problems. It is known to be healing and soothing to dry and irritated skin. It is particularly used as a facial oil for acne to expedite healing. Licorice root is also another herb that prevents hair loss and further damage to the hair.

B5- is the only vitamin (Vitamin B5) known to penetrate the hair shaft. It has historically been used to build healthy follicles and reduce graying.

Aloe- Aloe Vera Gel is rich in mucupolysaccharides which provide a natural and anti-inflammatory effect.

Can Marijuana Cause Hair Loss?

Posted by Rob Beale on Wed, Nov 04, 2009 @ 03:59 PM

I've been answering a lot of questions lately about smoking marijuana and the effects it can have on adrogenetic alopecia.  Simply put, can marijuana cause hair loss?

Fortunetly not, but it can aggravate such medical conditions such as alopecia areata (bald spots on the scalp).

Smoking marijuana habitually can cause a general loss of hair through its effects on the liver, but since 2002, Evolution Hair Centers have never treated a client with hair loss directly related or steming from smoking marijuana.

Ovation Hair Alternative Review Study

HairStem 360 Product System

In march of 2009, I reviewed the Ovation Hair Product Line and posted the my findings on this blog. Since then, many of you have commented on your disappointment in regard to the lack of results with the Ovation Products.

In April of this year, I set out to find a product line that could deliver consistant results for the at-home user. My tests did include DS Laboratories Revita Shampoo as well their Spectral DNC topical. Although their products did show positive results, I did however witness many scalp reactions for those people with sensitive scalps.

In response to the lack of products that could help with the wide range of at home needs and scalp conditions, I have created a new product system that was formerly by prescription only.

The new HairStem 360 Product System for Thinning Hair proves to effectively address all primary reasons for hair loss; enhancing hair quality, scalp health, width and diameter of the hair shaft, and most importantly can truly reverse hair loss.

The HairStem360 Product System for Thinning Hair is unique in many ways. For more information, go to HairStem 360 Product System page.

I would like to hear your feedback when you become a new user. I am offering this product at 15% off for those people who are want to use and review this product on our blog. We want to know how this product kit influences your hair growth.

I will be posting our initial microscopic scalp analysis photographs in an upcoming blog article for in-clinic participants of this review study. If you are interested in participating in this Review Study, simply use the promo code TRUEGROWTH when purchasing this set at our store using this link HairStem Hair Loss Product System. I thank you in advance for your participation and feedback.
